The Dojo has been in continuous operation since 1965 under the leadership of Sensei Chiaradia. The Dojo has a long tradition of working with beginners to advanced students in a friendly learning environment. Over the 47 years of operation under Sensei Chiaradia he has maintained a loyal core of senior students, who return a vast depth of knowledge to the classes. 9 of the dojo's current students are 3rd degree (sandan) black belts or higher and have been with the dojo for over 16 years. The high number of senior students means that beginner's will have the opportunity to work out with knowledgeable partners who can guide them in practice. Sensei Chiaradia's policy is to pair up beginners and advanced students during class as much as possible. This reduces beginner frustration that can occur when neither partner is familiar with the technique.
